Latin music is well-noted for its glowing passion and strong rhythms. The Iberian Peninsula is the habitat of the Latins, who possess great enthusiasm for music and dance. The famous opera “Carmen” demonstrates typical Spanish characteristics, with its wild and impassioned atmosphere and heart-moving melodies. Under the leadership of the Music Director cum Conductor Johnson Leung, Chordophonia will interpret “Carmen” and a series of blood-heating works with a brand-new combination of strings and percussion, which the audience will thoroughly enjoy in a midsummer night.
